Fence Gates: beautiful, hand made, professional quality
A homeowner in the Sugar Land / Missouri City area, recently hired me to replace this gate to his backyard. His dogs had ravaged the bottom half of the gate as you can see. I forgot to take a picture of the backside before I took it down, but it had boards bolted up and chicken wire for reinforcement / protection of the wood.
I replaced this gate with one of my handmade, GreenGo Gates . . . I was able to reuse his hardware (saving him some money) and with just two trim cuts, the gate fit perfectly into place . . .
Here’s the backside of the gate . . . at the bottom, you’ll notice a piece of 4″ wide steel bolted to an additional 3/4″ picket piece . . . I don’t think his dogs will be doing much damage to the bottom of this gate any time soon.
